Abstract

Detailed morphological study of a specimen of Cyclosorus griffithii (Moore) C. M. Kuo from CAL, revealed some unreported features. Due to the presence of some variations in micromorphological features, like multicellular paraphyses in sori and unicellular tubular hairs on sporangia, this specimen of CAL collected from Meghalaya, India is being considered as Cyclosorus griffithii (Moore) C. M. Kuo war. meghalayensis J. Mazumdar and R. Mukhopadhyay variety novum.
