ANTHROPOMETRIC MEASUREMENTS IN PRIMARY AMENORRHEA

Abstract
Mean values of six standardised body measurements namely height vertex, body weight, span, total arm length, total leg length and sitting height of 70 primary amenorrhea cases and 30 controls are presented. It is interesting to note that 69% of the patients with primary amenorrhea fall under the category short and this is compared with control group, with only 6.66%, comes under short category and the same trend is also observed in span, total arm length, total leg length and sitting height. The mean weight in the 70 primary amenorrhea cases is very low with only 39.67±1.3090. and this is compared with the control group 49.56±13010.
